It has come to my attention that some of you are talking about having The RayDawgs without ya boy. Have you ever heard of anything so blasphemous?? That´s like Harold Melvin without the BlueNotes. `You´ll Never Go Platinum`.

For those of you that dont know, RayDawg is currently in Rio de Janeiro Brazil working on his tan and plotting against those Sap-suckas that would even think of pulling off such a trecherous act as having the RayDawg Awards without me.

At the begining of ´07 I let everyone know that The RayDawgs would be back in grand style and we pulled off one hellova show. If you missed it then that means you have to bring 3 people with you this year. Some one get a pen and write this down……..

We Will Be Having The RayDawgs this Year in ´08 With Ya Boy RayDiggy Himself!!!

Now, with saying that I would also like to warn all of you about false imitation raydawgs. If you receive an email about someone throwing a party called The RayDawgs and it doesnt have the RayDawg seal of approval then delete that from your inbox as if it was a chinese chainmail letter.

Here´s how to protect yourself from Fake RayDawg functions:

If RayDawg aint there thats a dead give-away.
If someone has contracted a little Mexican boy to play the role of RayDawg
If there is no talk of Ice Sculpture liquor shots or Flaming Doctor Peppers
If there are not, at least, two white girls throwing up in the bathroom
Slap Yo Cousin Catering is doing the cooking
If Three is not trying to play Prince Rodger Nelson´s Greatest Hits

We walked our asses all over Rio de Janeiro from top to bottom. We hit the city pretty hard since the weather wasnt so good for most of T´s stay but we had a good time and it always makes it a little easier when you´ve got a cold beer in your hand. I appreciate the love T.

We even wound up on the steps where Snoop Dogg (no relation to RayDawg) and Pharrel shot the video ´Beautiful´and took a few shots of TBone mean muggin´in Rio. You can take the boy outta the ghetto…..

Movie Critic - I am Legend

Now.. normally I am a Sci Fi action junkie and Mr. Willie Smith does a decent job. But has anybody seen the latest release of the trailers. The CGI looks horrible. The look of the vampires (yes vampires if you didn’t know) look so crappy. CGI has come far FAR I SAY from this. What the H*ll us going on. Was there no budget left after paying Willie is fee. Did they use some high school contest winner to draw the CGI. I mean…. Player come on. I think Resident had plenty of nasty looking characters that looked real enough. These CGI on this movie looked straight cartoonish. They might as well have tried to do the whole thing in a cartoon like Beowulf. I guess u guys really wanted Mr. Wille to get the felling of isolation. Because those grafics are enough to leave him all alone in a theater. So does anybody else think that this movie is still worth going to see?

In case you all havent figured it out yet I sincerely hate Oprah Winfrey. I´ll explain some other time as to why I think she´s the new anti-christ but right now I figured I´d list today´s focus.

Soldiers are bailing out on the War

WASHINGTON - Soldiers strained by six years at war are deserting their posts at the highest rate since 1980, with the number of Army deserters this year showing an 80 percent increase since the United States invaded Iraq in 2003.

While the totals are still far lower than they were during the Vietnam War, when the draft was in effect, they show a steady increase over the past four years and a 42 percent jump since last year.

“We’re asking a lot of soldiers these days,” said Roy Wallace, director of plans and resources for Army personnel. “They’re humans. They have all sorts of issues back home and other places like that. So, I’m sure it has to do with the stress of being a soldier.”

Military leaders — including Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Casey — have acknowledged that the Army has been stretched nearly to the breaking point by the combat. Efforts are under way to increase the size of the Army and Marine Corps to lessen the burden and give troops more time off between deployments.

“We have been concentrating on this,” said Wallace. “The Army can’t afford to throw away good people. We have got to work with those individuals and try to help them become good soldiers.”

Still, he noted that “the military is not for everybody, not everybody can be a soldier.” And those who want to leave the service will find a way to do it, he said.

Dawg, somebody tell them cats to head down south and come kick it with ya boy. I´m dodging bullets everyday but at least I got a great sceneary and our beaches got water. I aint saying they should desert…….. but I can understand.

Racism in California goes too Far

LAKEPORT, Calif. - Three young black men break into a white man’s home in rural Northern California. The homeowner shoots two of them to death — but it’s the surviving black man who is charged with murder. In a case that has brought cries of racism from civil rights groups, Renato Hughes Jr., 22, was charged by prosecutors in this overwhelmingly white county under a rarely invoked legal doctrine that could make him responsible for the bloodshed. “It was pandemonium” inside the house that night, District Attorney Jon Hopkins said. Hughes was responsible for “setting the whole thing in motion by his actions and the actions of his accomplices.” Prosecutors said homeowner Shannon Edmonds opened fire Dec. 7 after three young men rampaged through the Clearlake house demanding marijuana and brutally beat his stepson. Rashad Williams, 21, and Christian Foster, 22, were shot in the back. Hughes fled. Hughes was charged with first-degree murder under California’s Provocative Act doctrine, versions of which have been on the books in many states for generations but are rarely used. The Provocative Act doctrine does not require prosecutors to prove the accused intended to kill. Instead, “they have to show that it was reasonably foreseeable that the criminal enterprise could trigger a fatal response from the homeowner,” said Brian Getz, a San Francisco defense attorney unconnected to the case. The NAACP complained that prosecutors came down too hard on Hughes, who also faces robbery, burglary and assault charges. Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty. The Rev. Amos Brown, head of the San Francisco chapter of the NAACP and pastor at Hughes’ church, said the case demonstrates the legal system is racist in remote Lake County, aspiring wine country 100 miles north of San Francisco. The sparsely populated county of 13,000 people is 91 percent white and 2 percent black. Brown and other NAACP officials are asking why the homeowner is walking free. Tests showed Edmonds had marijuana and prescription medication in his system the night of the shooting. Edmonds had a prescription for both the pot and the medication to treat depression. “This man had no business killing these boys,” Brown said. “They were shot in the back. They had fled.”

Now how the hell do you go in to rob a house with yo boys, they get killed by the home owner and you come out as their murderer. Only in California. That is some really wacky shit. But the real question is…..Why did they go in that house looking for weed like some crack-heads. Alot more to this story but I´m not sure I want to know.

This blog was inspired by the RayDawg Awards which are held every year in recognition of getting caught in the messed up thing we do which often times makes up our personalities.
